Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
FlexNightlife ("we", "us") runs FlexNightlife. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address, and, if you add them, your phone number and profile photo. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and photo from Google.
Purchases: the orders you place, the tickets issued to you, whether and when a ticket was scanned at the door, and payment records such as the amount, currency, payment method and the reference from our payment partner. We never receive or store your full card details.
Activity: events you favourite, organizations you follow, notifications we send you and messages you send to our support team.
Technical data: the IP address and browser used to sign in, kept with your login sessions for security.
How we use it
To run your account, sell and deliver your tickets, check you in at events, send you order and event updates, process refunds, answer support requests, and keep the platform secure and free of fraud.
We send marketing messages only if you turn on News and offers in your notification settings. You can turn it off at any time.
Who we share it with
Event organizers: when you buy a ticket, the organizer and their door staff can see your name, the ticket type and whether you have checked in, so they can run the event.
Service providers who process data for us: payments (Paystack), email delivery (Resend), file storage (Cloudflare) and Google if you use Google sign-in. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect people from harm or fraud. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your name, email, phone number, photo, favourites, follows, notifications and support conversations, and you can no longer sign in.
We keep an anonymous record of past orders, payments, refunds and tickets because tax, accounting and anti-fraud rules require it. Copies of payment confirmations from our payment partners, which may include the email you paid with, are kept with those records.
Your rights
You can see and update your details in your account settings, change your notification choices, and delete your account. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or restrict it, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security and changes
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you as the law requires.
We may update this policy and will tell you about significant changes before they take effect.
